1. The Original idea to create a "aqua gloss" disc came from a 48x48 icon Music.ico from Foood's iCandy 1.0 icons.
2. The original inspiration to create Matrix Code Stream over Aqua gloss came from Jatin's Matrix Folders icons.
I just wanted to display the ideas from above artits, in a larger Minimalistic wallpaper, to create a design balance between the desktop and icons.
I always wondered about the Matrix Backup! This is Matrix Black Backup! Disc (XVD) this could store around 10 GB Of Data.
Note: Discs vs. Disks. A computer CD is the same type of thing as a music CD. A CD is spelled disc. It's a trademark thing. Disks are the same thing as cassette tapes. Disks have a coating of magnetic ferrous oxide, or iron rust, on both sides of a sheet of mylar (plastic.) The thin plastic brown disk inside the diskette is called the cookie. Marketing people don't use diskette. They think it sounds wimpy. The hard disk is spelled disk, but the metal disk inside is spelled disc. Info courtesy of [link]
Note: A wallpaper of 1600x1200 is also made for the sharp guys having larger resolutions, but it would be posted after having an idea of the number of views, I just dont want my gallery full with similar deviations.
Matthew Bice of IHeartNY.com and Receiver Studio was kind enough to write a tutorial for InterfaceLIFT. His article 'Creating Aqua Icons' guides you step by step through the process using Adobe Photoshop to create a realistic Aqua Effect.
I never disturbed the above people, I just kept an admiring eye over the great work they carried out.
I believe, if you want to learn skills of your desire, you have to face difficulties, and you must learn at your own, this proves your geniune interest toward them.
Also I believe, you must give credits to the people, who did more or less, to make you go. This is very much necessary, you can see all the people's names when a movie ends! is'nt it? sure, movies are considred the biggest, strongest form of Art.
However feel free to ask me anything relating to Aqua Effects, as I am into it these days!
